About Us
Simply put, we are the youth running club for Newbury Park, California.
We promote basic fitness through exercise, proper diet, teamwork, personal victories, having fun, and creating memorable competitive experiences. Through Track & Field in the Spring and Cross Country in the Summer/Fall, we strive to foster a focus and commitment to health by promoting a running lifestyle. Our team of dedicated volunteers provide the necessary training for each athlete to excel and achieve their personal best!

We are one of the oldest continuously running youth sport organization in the Conejo Valley and currently part of the Ventura County Youth Track Conference, a non-profit, tax-exempt California corporation consisting of approximately 1,700 athletes from around Ventura County.

In addition to the regular season, the VCYTC has established a cooperative relationship with the Southern California Youth Track & Field Conference (SCYTFC). The SCYTFC serves approximately 2,300 youth athletes from Simi Valley, Santa Clarita Valley, and the San Fernando Valley. Through this relationship the VCYTC and SCYTFC host a dual conference open meet mid-season each April where more than 2,000 youth athletes participate in the two day event.

At the conclusion of each season, both conferences run respective Championships or Varsity Finals events which serve as qualifiers for the jointly run Co-Conference Championships (CCC). Many of the athletic performances which occur at the CCC are considered elite on a national level and serve as a qualifying meet to progress to the Junior Olympics, where our dual conference sends athletes to compete at the national level.
Newbury Park Track Club is an all volunteer organization. We operate under Ventura County Youth Track Conference, which is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit organization.
